Mario Marret

Mario Marret was a French filmmaker and explorer known for his documentary work and contributions to polar exploration. He began his career as a sound engineer before transitioning to filmmaking. Marret led the French Antarctic Expedition in 1952–1953, which was documented in his film Terre Adélie (1957). He continued to create documentaries focusing on exploration and adventure, including La Grande Crevasse (1960).
